Information:
Bolu covers 1.05% percent of total area of Turkey,
it is about 8.294 km². It is in West Black Sea region.
GEOGRAPHY OF BOLU:
Bolu which has
8294 km² surface area is in the West Black Sea region. The
lenght between East and West is about 186 km. Bolu has got 9
districts: Dörtdivan, Mengen, Gerede, Seben, Yeniçağa, Göynük,
Kıbrısçık, and towncenter. According to towncenter Dörtdivan,
Yeniçağa, and Gerede locate in the east, Mengen in the northeast,
Göynük and Mudurnuin the southwest, Seben and Kıbrısçık in the
South. Bolu’s neighbours are: Düzce and Sakarya in the west.
Bilecik and Eskişehir in the southwest. Ankara in the South.
Çankırı in the east. Zonguldak in the north and Karabük in the
northeast. The surface area of Bolu centre and the districts are
given in the table.
